Pictures
of things - Cats, Birds, Plants, other things

these cute things are from my sister (who shall remain namless) but we
won't go there!
Yeah - well - someone's birthday is coming up next week (we won't say
who's) - but - we decided to pick-out a card for her (or is it a him or
an it?) - anyway - we struggled (and struggled (and struggled some
more))) trying to find a card - finally GAVE UP trying to find a card
and decided to send them just a picture of me trying to find a card
(Picture OBVIOUSLY taken by my lovely, talented, charming wifely-one
(otherwise known as Ms._Huggly_Bunch)....
Remember, though if you want "Cute" (which I am NOT) then you have to
scroll-down-a-bit for the cuterestest picture this month!
This one came from my step-sister Ms._Kristin, apparently she has a
friend; the caption to the original picture reads, "Hello World, don't
you think I'm cute?" - and - yes he/she/it is REAL - other
pictures showed growing-up in an incubator!...
Some pictures (on Tuesday, 24th) from my sister, who's neighbor's cat
seems exceedingly content to pose for relaxing pictures on my sister's
front steps... My sister, is, of course, a considerably better 'nature'
photographer than I am, PLUS, she has this TERRIFIC subject, who -
unlike other nature-subjects will HOLD STILL for a period of time but
also knows HOW to pose so you don't have to 'direct' her very much... -
Maybe we should pay her more!
If you're interested in more 'views' of Ms. Zuni, you can go to my
sister's web-page, here.

A Lotus Pond we found in Clermont (after breakfast and on our return to
Groveland to fly. Because of the getting even more severe
'drought' here in Florida - many many many small lakes are losing their
levels and becoming Lotus-Ponds... - this is just one of the MANY in
the area!
These cactus blossoms only come
out once a year or so ... Ms. May noticed them yesterday morning and we
took pictures. She managed to get them with some bumblebees
inside them, I wasn't able to do that?
More Cactus blossom picture(s) on Ms. May's 'gallery' page when she
gets it organized and ready for public consumption!

Ms. May's Pineapple in the front yard.

Ms. Siew Mei - on the computer-desk -
next to the Apple Monitor - in the "Bills to be Paid" basket, helping
me with bill-paying, e-mailing, and generally being uselessing...
- something I'm not very good at but I'm practicing and with Ms. Siew
Mei's help I'll be good at this some day (Being Useless!)...

Some really (REALLY) tiny flowers in the yard (Saturday, 26th May,
2007)...

Ms._May's tomatoes (they are TASTY, AND DELICIOUS (if a bit 'thick
skinned' but still tasty!)

and Ms._May's pink-flowered-plant...

and Ms._May's orchids - recently watered and 'turned' so that theyget
even sun...

A picture by my Texas_sister of a butterfly and a thistle...

My sister, in Austin, Texas, is still doing a very good job of Bird
Pictures,
with her recently acquired (thanks to the help of her brother) Nikon
D-80 Digital camera.
Here's a picture of her "Painted Bunting", who comes to visit her bird
feeder periodically.
This is a replacement for the image that was originally here - she
didn't like that other one,
I thought it was just fine...
