Well - he's SO IMPORTANT, and such a good friend, and we have such fun playing with him when he comes to visit, - we gave him a home-page of his own!
Pictures & text in his very own PictureBook1.

Mr. Chaton has become a very firmly entrenched family member, lately. On Sunday night Mr. Bill accidentally sat his chair on Mr. Chaton's paw. Though he was running around later that evening, Ms. May took him to the local vet (about a 3 minute walk from our flat) and the vet pronounced him fine & fit. In our ever-widening responsibilities with our new friend Ms. May had the vet give him some shots, and even a certificate stating so. Mr. Bill is investigating what the processes, procedures & government hoops are to make him a permanent member of our family, and get him imported into the USA in January when we move. So - the short answer is that he must have shots, a certificate stating that and "appear healthy" to the inspecting US Customs officer on arrival.
I think he probably qualifies on all counts, however, I'm going to USA for a few weeks on 27 September, and I'll certainly be making a number of phone-calls to verify this. I'm going in through Miami on the 27th, and have some free time when I arrive, so I'll try to get the customs people there (as that's the airport we'll go in through when we take him in January), to talk to me when I go in on Monday.
AND: - he is doing a good job of keeping Ms. May from getting bored with her French lessons. Kathy asked about teaching him English - but I suspect that "catspeak" is independent of the local language. At least our cats (up to 11 at one time) in Hong Kong (Tai Po) as well as the ones we met in Australia, all seemed to speak the same language: "Food, Hugs, CatPets, Sleep, Food, Hugs, CatPets, Sleep, Food, Hugs, CatPets, Sleep!" - I think cats speak the same language on all continents.
Anyway - we're quite happy that he's adopted us, and that we've brought him happiness as well as vice-versa. I think we ar both begining to feel more like "parents" now that we have a "responsibility" at home that takes more time & effort than 30 bears (though we're begining to feel that the bears need a bath these days - Maybe this weekend?
IN any case - we'll do more pictures soon, and publish them...!!!
mo later - Bill & May & Mr. Le Vite Chaton
